What are your hours of operation?

We're a new business and still finalizing our regular hours, but right now we're open most days. We're happy to be flexible to accommodate your needs – just let us know when you'd like to come in and we'll do our best to make it work!

Do I need to book an appointment in advance?

Appointments are helpful, but we're also happy to take walk-ins when possible. Since we're new, our availability might vary a bit. Feel free to call ahead at (317) 455-5009 to check if we're available, or come on down and we'll see if we can fit you in!

How often should my pet be groomed?

The ideal grooming schedule for your pet depends on a few factors, but the most important one is their coat:

• Hair length: Short-haired pets generally need less frequent grooming, maybe seasonally (around 4 times a year).

• Coat type:

  • Long, thick, or curly coats: These lovelies need more attention to prevent matting. Aim for professional grooming every 4-8 weeks and brush at home regularly (at least twice a week).

  • Double coats: These guys shed seasonally and benefit from brushing 1-3 times a week. For professional grooming, short double coats might be okay every 2-3 months, while longer ones might need a bath and light trim monthly.

  • Silky coats: Frequent trims (every 4-6 weeks) help keep them healthy and prevent matting.

Here are some additional things to consider:

• Shedding: If your pet sheds excessively, a groomer might offer low-shed services like "blow-outs" to remove loose fur.

• Lifestyle: Does your pet spend a lot of time outdoors getting dirty? More frequent grooming might be needed.
